Recent Thoughts
I am interested in the historical process by which image, or brand value, develops for corporations in the fashion and cosmetics industry. I want to maintain a broad perspective on social history as I continue my analysis, looking at the distinguishing features of organizations that reproduce cutting-edge aesthetic sensibilities, as well as the correlation between the activities of such corporations and the image formation of cities and nations. The object of my research is Shiseido, which was established in 1872.
